January
Biblical World View Conference
2thepoint
Canberra: 15-21 Jan
Countless Christians - and especially Christian youth - are renouncing
their faith and are adopting the false humanistic philosophies of our
day....such as Darwinism, naturalism, relativism, postmodernism,
pluralism, and many others.
Christians have simply not been taught
how to develop a comprehensive Christian view of reality or an intelligent
biblical defence regarding the fundamental issues of our day.
Summit Ministries will be running our
second 5 day Australian Worldview Conference to help train Christian
students, teachers and professionals to understand and analyse the major
humanistic worldviews of our day, contrasting them with the Biblical
Christian worldview.
International and Australian speakers
include Dr David Noebel (USA), Dr Michael Bauman (USA) Dr Darrell Furgason
(CAN) Dr Stuart Robinson (AUS) Dr Andrew Snelling (AUS) Jim Wallace (AUS)
Dr Mark Durie (AUS).

National Day of
Thanksgiving

Celebrating 400 years of Australia being named "The Great Southland of
the Holy Spirit". The National Day of Thanksgiving is a unique
opportunity for Australians to celebrate and give thanks for our God given
heritage as a nation and to demonstrate the God given values of honour,
respect, thankfulness and gratitude towards our fellow man that have made
us the great nation we are. It is a day for us to pause as a nation and
say thank you to God and to each other for those many things we often take
for granted but which really make our lives worth living. Let us use this
day to be a blessing to those who have been a blessing to us during the
past year.
