ILG’s purpose is to create a non-competitive environment where motivated Chief Executives and Company Directors can develop professional and personal capacity through facilitated mentoring and peer interaction. Every Business leader is in a unique role that shares a lonely responsibility for corporate wellbeing and rewarding returns.

Facilitator

John Muys spent 10 years in the Banking and Insurance Industry John set out from New Zealand on a 30 year Life Journey establishing companies in the Christian Music and Book Distribution Industry in New Zealand, Australia and Canada. This has given John the opportunities to work alongside a number of influential Global Christian organisations such as Promise Keepers, Focus on the Family, Samaritan's Purse, Willow Creek, Alpha, CWR, Empart International.

John was instrumental in brining and establishing a number of these Ministries in Australia and New Zealand. Over the past 25 years John has travelled and worked in over 15 countries, establishing new Ministry initiatives and setting up distribution relationships for various multi national Christian organisations. John also currently serves as part of the Leadership Team at Saddleback Community Church.

During his time as Board Chairman and CEO of CMC Distribution Canada, the company grew from $500,000 annual turnover in 1990 to $16 million in 2003, which effectively took the market share from less than 5% in 1990 to over 95% in 2003. John loves a challenge and finds energy turning around struggling companies. He has a particular interest in sales and strategic marketing, business development, brand and product development and organisational leadership.

John is passionate about seeing people grow in every aspect of their life. His aim is to encourage and then equip business leaders to fully develop their entrepreneurial abilities while living an integrated and significant life.
