the following for yourself and your friends...
We have organised a great package getaway for your weekend. No driving,
no thinking about what you will do or where you will go. Imagine taking
a charter flight to Corowa where you will be "champagned" on
arrival as you are conveyed to Mount Ophir Estate.
A dinner party has been prepared for you
on arrival. Much produce from the farm and otherwise locally grown. A
local winemaker has selected the accompanying wines for the evening and
he will present each to you throughout the evening.
A great sleep in our quiet stress-free environment follows. You will not
breakfast until a very civilised time the next morning. However, tea and
coffee is always available for those who wake with the birds and there
are lots of country lanes for exercising (if you must).
You will be taken to tour turrets and towers of the district - and of
course you will taste as much wine as you desire. Specially arranged
lunches for two days will be yours to enjoy.
The second night - a second dinner party and another winemaker
attending.
Another brunch and maybe you might like to choose between more wineries,
historic towns (with great ice creams), bush walking, mountain climbing,
or antique fossicking. Your decision before boarding for home.
Number of persons for this package can be between 10 and 14. Price will
be on application - depending on the group
numbers.
This package is also available for those groups who drive to the Mount
Ophir Estate rather than being flown in. The tariff is adjusted
accordingly.
For our overseas visitors we offer lots
of interesting things to do and see. The experience you will have while
staying on the farm is truly an Australian experience. We can even
arrange the great Aussie BBQ if you request us to do it for you! You
might even like to pick up Emu eggs in the early morning - or watch the
animals being fed.
Special rates are available on application
for overseas groups traveling together - depending on the numbers in the
group.
