The Alternative
The Alternative is an online newsletter
and website that is designed to reach not-yet-Christians with the message of
the Kingdom of God. Our potential audience is anyone anywhere in the world
who is on the net. Each month the newsletter will be sent free of charge as
an email to anyone who subscribes. The Alternative will contain articles on
life issues that relate to everyone in the community. Christians can then
send this newsletter to their friends as a means of reaching them. Readers
can also visit the website where a large range of articles will be available
for people to read and download. Visit our website

have to do is sign up as a subscriber.

revelation. While I have been a Christian and a church leader for many years
it is only in recent years that I have been confronted with the dynamic
message of the Kingdom of God. I have come to see that our faith is relevant
to all of life and that we have the responsibility and the privilege of
seeing the prayer of Jesus fulfilled - thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in

Release
Revival Imprints in Your Workplace
Realise your
work is the place where you serve God daily
see: Ephesians 2:10, 2 Cor 5:17-20 and
Col 1;20.
Excel
in professional competency and take up training opportunities to
improve your skills.
Ask God
to fill you with Holy Spirit anointing for your work: Ex 31:1-11.
In so
far as it depends on you… - look after God’s creation in the way you do business: Gen 1:28 - implement
Biblical principles in the way you work: Matt 6:10
Take
the Fruit and the Gifts of the Spirit to work, eg: the
fruit of self control and the gifts of love, wisdom etc: Gal 5:22 and 1
Cor 12.
Develop
mateship with your work colleagues: take John 13:34 to work.
Do
something relational with not-yet-Christian work colleagues one
lunch time a week.
Take
spiritual 'duty of care' for your workplace
by starting a strategic small group in your workplace one lunch
time per week to support each other and pray for your company staff and
